We are truly blessed.
To be surrounded by creation, it's beauty, its diversity, and challenges puts an entirely different perspective on our day., and your day...your thoughts... and your very being.
And to be able to share both this location and our products with people around the world has made our lives all the more blessed. There is a balance that must be maintained to protect creation while making use of its gifts. We at STRAWHOUSE strive to make sure we know how our products are grown, harvested, and marketed and that they meet the needs socially and environmentally.
Birds are especially dear to our hearts since so many migrate between our yard right here in Trinity County to the very place where our gourmet coffee beans are grown.
Without preserving the shade-grown coffee plants in the rain forests, many of these birds may not frequent our yards any longer. This is just a sample of what you might see on any given day while you sip your coffee on our patio. If you would like more information about the wilderness that surrounds us, birding or wildlife, river sports or vacation spots, please visit trinityriver.org.
If you can't make it to the area, we hope you will try our gourmet coffee, knowing that great care has been taken to provide you with the best coffee we can offer as well as protecting what we all hold dear.
